I am committed to sharing the knowledge and insights I have gained throughout my career of over three decades at leading international law firms, primarily as a partner. My goal is to give back by coaching, training, and teaching law students, lawyers, and other professionals, empowering them to navigate their careers with confidence, purpose, and authenticity.
Executive Coaching For Lawyers, Law Firms, and Non-Lawyer Professionals [Jason: Light Blue Background? Make this a button that links to the Coaching page?]
Coaching is all the rage these days and for good reason. A good coach can support and guide a client towards finding the right answers for them.
Coaching can help busy professionals to clarify their vision for their careers and lives, and to harness their individual strengths to achieve their objectives. It can be particularly useful when exploring career options, facing an obstacle, navigating a new role, or addressing change or conflict.
Becoming a certified lawyer coach was a natural extension of my mentoring experiences as a law firm partner and law professor. I love working with clients to achieve their professional and personal goals.
Training Programs For Law Firm Associates and Partners [Jason: Light Blue Background? Make this a button that links to the Training page?]
During my practice as a law firm partner, I regularly led training programs for clients, spoke at Continuing Legal Education programs, and trained and mentored associates. These experiences inspired me to craft a syllabus for a course on acquisition finance that I now teach at Columbia Law School and New York University School of Law.
The training programs that I offer to law firms draw directly from my experience as a law firm partner and a law professor. They cover practical skills like business development and time management, as well as substantive skills such as drafting and negotiation techniques.
Working with law students as a professor, gives me the perfect perspective for my foundational training programs for junior associates that help them develop skills to work efficiently and effectively, while developing the resilience needed for a long, successful, and rewarding law firm practice. It is also a priceless window for my training programs on how partners can maximize working with associates and managing their teams.

My first class at Columbia Law School
Teaching is in my bones. I come from a family of teachers. Watching students gain confidence, develop knowledge, and grow, is incredibly fulfilling.
My courses at Columbia Law School and New York University School of Law are tailored to bridge the gap between theory and practice and to give students a meaningful advantage when they join a law firm.
