About
Joanne De Silva
I was born in Singapore, went to law school in England, and have lived and worked in New York since 1999.
My career as a law firm partner spanned more than three decades, and I have been admitted to the New York, English, and Singapore bars.
Cooking for my family and friends brings me joy, while running and yoga keep me balanced.
“I have worked hard to dedicate myself to teaching, training, and coaching at this stage of my life, as this aligns with my core values.”
About My Family
“I believe we create our own families— blended, blood, and chosen. ”
My family is my husband and stepsons (all transfixed here), my parents, sisters, godchildren, nephews, aunties, uncles, cousins (official and unofficial), and my dear friends, who support me through thick and thin.
My parents came from different ethnicities, languages, and religions, and they instilled in me the conviction that acceptance, tolerance, and celebrating our differences make us stronger. That belief is at the heart of my coaching, training, and teaching.
My delightful goddaughter

“Love is love is love is love is love is love is love is love.”
